Our membership program galvanizes good will
and support in pursuit of TICH's mission as a centre of professional,
academic and technical excellence.
Membership Categories
There
are four categories of membership:

Founder membership
A life membership is open to anyone interested in supporting the Institute
in promoting the development and sustainability of Community-based programs
for transformation.

Annual professional membership
This category is open to anyone interested in supporting the Institute
in promoting the development and sustainability of Community-based programs
for transformation. Those applying for Professional membership will
first be scrutinized by the International Academic/Professional Board.
This category of membership is renewable at the end of every year and
allows members to participate in the Annual General Meeting.
· Annual associate membership
This category is open to anyone interested in supporting the Institute
in promoting the development and sustainability of Community-based programs
for transformation. Those applying for Professional membership will
first be scrutinized by the International Academic/Professional Board.
This category of membership is renewable at the end of every year and
allows members to participate in the Annual General Meeting.
· Corporate Membership
This category of membership is for companies and organizations (both
in public and private sector) wishing to participate and that, in the
opinion of the Boards, help achieve the objectives of the Institute.
Any person or agency applying for membership in the proscribed manner
may be admitted as a member of TICH, according to the category of membership
requested. New members would be welcomed each year at the Annual General
Meeting.
Sponsor
of TICH
One becomes a sponsor by paying Kshs. 500,000. This category is open
to all, individuals as well as institutions.
Friend of TICH
One can become a friend of TICH by giving any donation in kind, including
the donation of academic materials.

Members pay a one-off joining and an
annual subscription fee as follows:

This Assembly of Founder Members is
the highest governing organ of the University that elects the Trustees
and the Council. As a member you can support the University by being
a member of the Council and some of the other committees of the University.
Rebate
of Fees and services
Founder
members will get rebate on fees and services offered at the University
(20% for staff, 40% for sponsors, 20% for staff)
Enterprise
Development
Members
will have the possibility of exploring various opportunities available
in this area
Members will be assisted to conduct a feasibility according to available
means
Members will have regular exchange of ideas and comparing of notes within
the field
Members can join cooperative ventures with the rest of the University
community.
Networking
Opportunities
Members
will get access to linkage with other members and partners of GLUK to
explore opportunities available
Members will gain access to exchange of ideas with TICH partner Institutions
Advancement
and Training
Members
will get opportunities to advance in various courses and workshops offered
by TICH
Members will have opportunities to facilitate at various courses on
behalf of TICH at a fee
Members will have regular exchange of ideas and comparing of notes within
the field
Members can join cooperative ventures with the rest of the University
community.
Access
to Information
Members
will have access to Institutions Publications and any other useful education
materials
Mentorship
Programs
Members
can join or sponsor someone on the mentorship program of the University
Community, for coaching and professional formation.
